The effect of Botox is the same for every neuron employng acetylcholine as a neurotransmitter. That is why it acts on sweat production and muscle activity the same. As sweat glands are located more superficial than muscle (in the deep dermis) the application should be done more superficially trying to avoid it reaching the muscle, and in lower individual doses, to affect muscle activity the least.

Unfortunately you have to wait for the effect to pass and continue with very low dosage of botulinum toxin, dosage that cannot guarantee the effect on excessive sweating.
