If the implants placed through inframammary icision or axilary incision.
Usually no effect on breast feeding as long as the incision is in the crease or the inframammary fold of the breasts. If the incision around the nipple or through the armpit, there is a risk of breast feeding being affected. Remember some women may not naturally breast feed without the effects of breast augmentation surgery.
Breast implants in prinicpal will not affect breastfeeding especially if they are inserted behind the muscle and using an incision away from the nipple and arealo. Yet very large sizes which may compress the normal breast tissue and may on the long run have undesired effects. One important point is to avoid inserting breast implants in a patient who is still lactating or has recently weaned her child. About 6 months of lag period between weaning and surgery is much safer otherwise a collection milk around the implant and infection may occur.
Implants generally has no effect on breast feeding. However post lactational involution and sagging can contibute to alteration in shape due to sagging of breast tissue

There is no evidence showing that breast implants may affect fertility, pregnancy or the patient's ability to breastfeed. In case one nursed babies one year before the surgery she may very well produce milk for a few days following the operation. This may cause discomfort but it can be treated with the medication we will prescribe for you.

As long as the surgeon do not transect the milk ducts there won't be any impact on breast feeding. The implants are placed behind the mammary gland or in a subpectoral position.
If the procedure is done through an inframammary or axilary approach it does not negatively influence the breast feeding. If it is done through a aperiareolar incision, the breastfeeding can be reduced.
The patients should be aware that breast augmentation does not generally interfere with a woman’s ability to breastfeed.
If inserted properly, breast implants do not interfere with breastfeeding.
We expect the patient with implant don't having problems. The total number of women experincing problems with breastfeeding is very similar between patients with implants and there with breast implants
