normally a breast lift where only skin will be removed won`t have a negative effect on breast feeding.

if the breast lift should be done with the transposition of the underlaying tissue, the fat and the glandular, there will be an obvious and inevitable cutting of the ‚‚milky ways‚‚ !
so, do the breast lif with implants, and the breastfeeding process will be safe!

In almost all cases, a breast lift will not affect your ability to breastfeed. A routine lift requires a small incision to the area and, while minimal scarring is probable, it will not compromise a patient’s milk ducts. For more information, visit Dr. Studin’s website.

This is always a tricky question to give an accurate answer on, as some women will have difficulty with breast feeding without having had surgery. Therefore I always tell my patients that breast reduction MAY affect breast reduction, but not necessarily. I would always encourage women who have had a breast reduction to try breast feeding, but they have to accept that there is a chance it may not work.

The one exception is a very large breast reduction involving free nipple grafts - this will prevent breast reduction in the future

Breast lift will not affect breastfeeding if the surgeon respects the gland and its connections with the nipple.

The “package” of the procedure includes:

Recommended prohibition of sports: 1 – 2 months
After the operation, it is necessary to wear a top with buttoning or a zipper.
It is not recommended to wear things that have to be put on over your head. After the breast surgery, such a movement of arms is not suitable.

Regarding your question about breastfeeding, we cannot guarantee. That depends on your healing process. We had patients that could breastfeed after a breast reduction, and patients who couldn't.

Breast lift with implants, Khawajas Transcutaneous Breast Lift, Khawajas Suture Breast Lift, Khawajas Thread Breast Lift, and Breast Lift via normal Skin Lift Mastopexy, do not damage the milk duct system, and therefore, do not affect breastfeeding.
