Personally, I perform my mastopexies (breast lifts) with the patient asleep. In a proper hospital setting, along with a highly skilled consultant anaesthetist, general anaesthetics are very safe nowadays.
Depending on how much of a lift you will need, the operation usually takes about 2-hours, which is a long time to consider having to be still for, should you be thinking about having the surgery under local anaesthetic and sedation.
The recovery from this procedure is quick after the general anaesthetic.
Regarding cost - this is in the region of £4,500 - £5000 (which includes the surgeon's fee, the hospital fee, the anaesthetist's fee and all post-operative visits and treatments).

With those figures, that puts your BMI at 38.4. This is quite high. In my practice safety always comes first. Even if you were to have a tummy tuck at the same time, you are at higher than average risk of wound healing problems. I would highly recommend going on a weight-loss programme to get down to 13-14 stone before having this sort of surgery. It will be safer, you will recover quicker and you will get a better aesthetic result (both from your breasts and your abdomen).
Good luck with everything. Please do not choose to do things too soon, or just on the cheapest deal you can get. Do your research about whoever you are considering going with and have at least 2 consults with them.

Regarding to your request, cosmetic surgery are more or less with selection to make that big procedures on one person and on the same time !should know that you are making high risk could happened to you and could change the direction of your life, if you plane to do any cosmetic surgery better to be done in 2 steps (times ) 3 months in between minimum .
And in case you would like to do it so do it home or at the faculty hospital to stay inpatient 6-7 days outpatient 20 days if no complication
And in Prague 30 days minimum if no complication will happen.

The total cost for breast lift and tummy tuck,doing it at the same time is around 8000 to 10 000 us dollars,but this would be a major surgery that takes around 5 hours,and you should be in a very good health condition to tolerate that type of surgery.regards.

Depends on the degree of the lifting,
A full breast lift requires a general anesthesia, however a minimal invasive lift or a peri-areolar lift requires only a local anesthesia.

If you are 42DD, may I ask if you know your BMI (derived from your weight and height). If it is significantly over 30, it puts you at a higher risk of post-operative complications. In addition, DD breasts are large and possibly heavy - if you have a lift with no reduction on heavy breasts, there is a risk that the weight of your breasts will cause them to drop sooner than you might want. Just some thoughts, that I hope you may find useful.

It depends of the size of the breast and patient's health.
Normally we prefer local anesthesia and sedation for small breasts.
For bigger breasts, we usually perform high peridural anesthesia or general anesthesia.

Dear Jane,I perform thsi surgery under local and sedation anaesthesia provided by my anaesthesiologist.
The price of this surgery is us$3500.
These amount includes all surgery fees (pre surgical exams, presurgical consultations, post surgical controls, medications, disposable materials, O.R, recovery room, and all doctor and assistants fees (principal plastic surgeon, assistant plastic surgeon, anaesthesiologist, cardiologist, and assistant nurses).
The stitches are removed almost 15 days after the surgery. Is my advise to stay in Buenos Aires at least 5 to 7 days after surgery. In case that you could not stay in Buenos Aires until the removal of the
stitches, I'll give precise indications about the withdrawal of them by other professional.

I don\'t receive my outpatients for price choices.
I receive my outpatients for trust in my team and quality of the job and assistances at post operative period.
We make breasts surgeries at most time at general anesthesia is the best anesthesia in my opinion. If you have some problem your life will be like a ship at anesthesiology hands(are two at same time). So is important to operate at safe place and board certified and high quality surgeon. How much does it costs your life? Safe hospital with Intensive Unit Care and Coronary Intensive Care are the guarantee for safe and high quality support if you need...you won\'t need...but if you need....bye bye..if you are not in a safe place.
Complexity of your surgery and Hospital and time(depending on the complexity) increase the costs. It changes. If you have giant breasts and you wish to try to preserve the sense of the nipples...the complexity increase...another techniques are associated to get good symmetry and good sense.

I prefer general anesthesia for breast lift surgery at our hospital, if breast implants needed for simultaneous augmentation I advise my patients to have general anesthesia. Local anesthesia w/wo sedation is not safe for all patients, and there may be some related complications. The total cost for breast lift is about 1800 USD, and 2600 USD with implants.

In your case I prefer doing breast reduction with breast lift than doing breast lift alone. Definitely under general Anaesthesia. You have to see the surgeon twice or thrice before deciding the procedure. See his pre and post op results. Get few phone nos of his patients who underwent similar surgeries and talk with them for better understanding of the doctor and the procedure.

A breast lift surgery it\'s a complex intervention. We undergo this surgery under general anesthesia.
The price for the intervention is 2500Euro without implants 4500 Euro with implants.
In the case of implants,the implants are introduced under the muscle and the size will be decided after the the messeurment. The scars will be treated with a special cream for this kind of surgery.
