Yes, an it is call Divine Law of Proportion.
The egiptians develop it, while seeing a common mathematical denominator in all nature. A simple single proportion from 1:1.618 apears everywhere, even the full body. Leo DaVinci is the most famous human who used this formulae drawing perfect body, that includes too, ofcourse, the perfect face.
