Endotine implant failures

How many times are these implants rejected and how long do they need to stay in before removing and undoing the lift?

RE: Endotine implant failures

Hi there

the endotine forehead device is a resorbable implant which will dissolve in about nine months, so usually there is no need to remove these things. If for any reason you want them removed, this can be done 6 weeks after the initial surgery without jeopardizing the result of the brow lift.

Best regards

removing Endotine implants

My Endotine implants (forehead for brow lift) are not dissolving and are very painful. Do I have an allergic reaction? What is the protocol for removing Endotine implants that are not dissolving. How long do they need to stay in for the brow lift to hold?

RE: Endotine implant failures

Dear,
These absorbable implants can react, and can be rejected. They can be removed, few weeks after insertion. We pioneered the percutaneous Brow Lift, and Thread Forehead Lift. We have never experienced any complications with these lifts, the procedure is done very comfortably under local anesthesia, and takes just 10 minutes for the brow lift, and 1/2 hour for the forehead lift. The procedure of removal of endotine implants, and thread brow, and forehead lift, can be performed simultaneously.

Kind Regards
