What aesthetic defects can be solved by eyelid surgery?

I have dark circles under my eyes, wrinkles around the eyes and my eyes have a sunken appearance. Can these problems be fixed by plastic surgery? What other aesthetic defects of the eyes can be surgically fixed?

Blepharoplasty is a surgery that involves repairing droopy eyelids by removing excess skin, muscle and fat. As you age, your eyelids stretch, and the muscles supporting them weaken.

The "dark circles"can not be removed by blepharoplasty. Blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery) is a surgical procedure that improves the appearance of the eyelids. It can treat:loose or sagging skin that creates folds or hides the natural contour of the upper eyelid, excess skin that hangs down from the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision, excess fat deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids, bags under the eyes, droopiness of the lower eyelids, excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid.

Dark circles under your eyes, wrinkles, fatty bags of lids, and doubling of your eyelid skin can be corrected with Blepharoplasty ( Eyelid surgery ). Sunken appearance can be improved considerably using either fillers, or fat transfer. H.A.Khawaja, MD,Dip: App: ABCS
