After reaching 40, the skin on my face and neck started sagging and so I'm thinking about lifting the skin using face lift surgery. I do not understand the difference between a face lift and mini face lift. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both methods?
The Face Lift is more extensive than mini Face lift, therephore involving longer incision and undermining.The indication for the one/other is determined by the age, the face tissues condition and sagging degree, and other specific conditions.
In face lift, full face and neck are lifted, whereas in mini face lift, only sagging portion of the face is lifted. The incision is long in face lift, and short in mini face lift. Recovery is rapid in mini face lift.
Mini face lift is a procedure that applies to the part of face and a complete facelift, including the face and neck.
