Can I help so that the stitches are absorbed faster?

there is no way you can do that, just be patient they will be absorbed or rejected by your body. It will depend of what type of material was used on your stitches.

absorption of sutures after labiaplasty

i would not recommend speeding up the resorption of resorbable sutures. they were placed to allow correct healing and to minimize scarring.

no,the stitches will fall down by it self,or the surgeon can remove it for you.

Stitches are absorbable, and generally dissolve faster. After every urination, you should clean your stitches with antiseptic solution, and apply antiseptic ointment for a few days. This helps in healing, and absorption of stitches. You must discontinue ointment after a few days, however, you must continue cleaning your stitches with diluted antiseptic solution, until stitches are dissolved.

depending on the type of stitches used, it takes about 1 -2 weeks for the stitches to disolve.
