Im 16 years old and am planning on getting a labiaplasty due too major discomfort and pain...is there any way insurance would cover the expensive cost of the procedure? would this count as a medical issue ?

i think it depends on the issue's it is giving you.
but i would say yes, i went to my doctor, he looked , he referd me then i waited for an appointment an then went in had it done.
i paid nothing. but i am on benifts at this moment in time

If you come to Rio de Janeiro, we come with us and we´ll indicate a gynecologist to give you a letter, writing you´ll have benefits to this surgery, if he thinks is right/elegible for this. If ok, you pay the team and hospital, and after we give a letter and you get the money with insurance.

It seems by your description that it is a medical not aesthetic necessity to have this procedure done. If you have pain and discomfort your famyly doctor should direct you to the specialist and tell you if it counts or not as a medical issue cover by your insurance. Sounds like it is.
