Raised 0.5cm hypertrophic scar

Hi,

I got a small raised scar on the bridge of my nose. I'm not sure what kind of treatment would be best for it. I understand that laser treatment is suitable for this kind of scar, but I dont know for sure.

But whatever it is, I need a treatment that can heal fast as I need to get back to uni the soonest possible.

What would be your recommendation?

Oh, and by the way, I wear glasses. Will it be in the way of the scar recovery as the glasses normally 'sits' on it?

Hello, Edith,
Well, depends how it looks and how tough the scar is. It is not clear from your enquiry if you live in our country (Czech Republic) or if you plan to travel here for holidays or if you simply ask any useful information from anywhere. The treatment of scar usually needs several sessions, depends on the method applied. Besides laser treatment (V-beam for whitening the red scars) we often perform carboxytherapy (small CO2 gas injections into the scar, usually once in 2-3 weeks in the case of the scar similar to yours, altogether cca 3-5 sessions) with good effect. If you are interested in our treatment, please, make a date for an entering consultation (600 CZK), then we can do the treatment itself (carboxytherapy 800 CZK one session, laser therapy 500 CZK one session for such a small scar).
