VASER Lipo? - Liposuction - Forums & Discussion 

Hey Cher. I also had a Vaser experience.There was very little pain just some slight soreness and swelling. For a couple weeks I took things easy but then jumped back into my workout routine.

I also had a Vaser procedure. My Vaser LipoSelection treatment was so much better than I thought it could be! Following my 2:00 pm surgery on multiple sites, I was able to attend my chemistry class that evening, then went home and did the laundry! I didn’t have to take any pain medication, and noticed very little bruising.

Following my Vaser LipoSelection treatment, I had absolutely NO bruising or swelling – I have already dropped a full pant size, and returned to work the Monday following my Friday procedure!

I had Vaser too! I am 30 and in the best shape of my life, but no matter how much exercising I did, my “pear shape” just never went away. I have a tiny waist and giant butt.

I had Vaser Liposelection on my inner and outer thighs. I don’t know exactly how much fat was removed, but I know it wasn’t much. I would guess less than two pounds worth. I was already skinny, I just carried my weight in my saddlebags. After I recovered from my lipo, I found that I went from a size two pant with a big gap at the waist, to a better proportioned zero.

I took one prescription pain pill for the pain and one Tylenol in the first week. That’s it! I was amazed that I needed so little help with the pain.

I am very happy with my results and am even more motivated than ever to stick to my exercise routine. I should have done it sooner! I am shocked at how many guys are hitting on me even though I wear a wedding band!

After my Vaser procedure, there was no bruising at all. I was thrilled with how good the area looked. 3 days later, I felt tired but good enough to do a little gardening.

I haven't personally experienced VASER, but I can tell you there is a similar procedure called SlimLipo which can also be used for abdominal, hip and thigh, arm, facial and neck fat reduction.

I know Dr. Gilad Segev who specializes in this type of laser liposuction, which not only provides a gentler and less painful experience for the patient, but has also been proven to be much safer than traditional liposuction, with patients experiencing a lowered incidence of bleeding, clotting, and other serious complications.
