Hanging Columella is widening of nostrila partition. Generally it is between 3-5 mm. but if it increased it brings the face in a bad shape.

A rhinoplasty surgery can be used as its treatment

Thanks

Dear Mrs Valerie Jenkins,
Hanging columella is a cosmentic or even functional problem caused by deviated or deformated cartilages/bony parts of the medial part of the external nose and sometimes nasal septum. It can be usually best managed by septorhinoplasty.

Dear, Valerie Jenkins,

for treatment it is necessary to first send pictures form the side (both sides), and from the bottom (best to lie down and take a picture facing into the nose).

Thank you,
