Stinging sensation and lums after Restylane - Restylane, Juvéderm, Surgiderm, Teosyal, Matridex, Matridur (hyaluric acid derivates) - Forums & Discussion 

Hi, I had some Restylane fillers injected into my hollows of cheeks and also on one side of my mouth where I was geting deeper lines from laughing etc, my face is lopsided, these were done at 11am on Thursday 24th Feb...am still experiencing a lot of stinging sensation on the side where there was most injected, its bruised and swollen and puffy and I look like I have had a tooth out...the other side is ok though I didnt have much there. For the 1st 24 hours it felt like wasps had stung me all over where the injections had gone in and it was very painful...I also had loads of lumps but they are disappating. Is this normal as I worry anyway and am panicking incase I have a huge swelling left on one side of my face for 14 months until it weras off or is this swelling normal and it will go down in a few days - as I said it is sore and tight and bruised. I rang the person who did it (have used her for yonks for botox) yesterday about all the lumps and she said they were probably just a reaction to the needles - which they were - but dont like to ring her again over this so can someone put my mind at rest as am panicking...!!!
