How can I convince myself it is OK to sit around and do nothing 1 week post tummy tuck? I feel guilty being waited on after elective surgery. My husband is wonderful and wants me to rest as much as possible. I thought I was super-woman and if it said 3-4 week recovery, I would be fine in 1-2 weeks. I might add that I am an active 63 year old woman. How can I accept the fact that I am a normal, mortal woman?

I suggest 6 weeks for sports and 2 weeks for light home duties
