sounds to me that you still have somme hematoma in there, or a seroma (collection of wound liquid), alternatively.
This only can be determined via physical and/or ultrasound examination.
No, you're not impatient, and, yes, you should certainly bug them with your issue. It's your undisputed right as a patient! "Come again in 4 months" sounds a lot like "looong bench" to me...
Oh, one more thing: have your abdominal muscles been sutured? In many of the cases a so called diastasis of the rectus muscle is pre-existant and has to be restored. If not done, in those cases the tummy kind of bulges out, even after a resection of the skin and subdermal tissue. Pls check with them!

thanks, i was stitched inside yes, but dont know abt this rectus muscle. i have phone the clinic and am waiting for a call. mandy.
