vertical cut - Abdominoplasty (Tummy tuck) - Forums & Discussion 

Hi, I had a full tummy tuck and muscle repair done on March 11th. I am a little dissapointed with a vertical cut I received along with my surgery.It is almost 3 inches long and will show if I want to wear a lower cut bikini since my horozontal cut is a little high. I was just wondering why I was left with this line? It appears to be my old belly button hole since there is a mark there from my old belly button piercing. I have been on so many websites and I have not come across anyone who has this cut, could anyone tell me why? and if there is anything I could do about it? I do plan on telling my ps when I see him on June12th, that this makes me unhappy,I didn't get a chance until the morning of my surgery to ask him about the vertical cut which was in his literature of the things that could happen and when I asked him he said he couldn't garantee that I wouldn't end up with one but never told me why.
