As a Doctor I did much research before embarking on cosmetic surgery overseas. Dr. Toncic was favourably recommended. He has had rigorous training and competently performed many procedures. I agree with one of the top UK cosmetic surgeons that there is no substitute for technical experience which comes through thorough training and a vast experience. Dr. Toncic would not perform the procedure unless I agreed to stay in Zagreb for 10 days following the surgery. Given that as a general rule of thumb, most complications following surgery arise in the first few days, was another influencing factor in my chosing the Doctors Toncic. The clinic have an arrangement whereby you may stay with one of the clinic nurses at her home. The cost was €50 per night which included all meals and after care. It was a delightful option. I got to spend time with a Croatian family and the aftercare was absolutely, positively first class. I am delighted with the results, and keep in contact with the Clinic. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Before embarking on any cosmetic procedure I would advise you discuss this initially with your own GP. A referral however, is not necessary. I have absoultely no hesitation in recommending Drs. Toncic, both meticulous in everything they do, and satisfied with nothing short of perfection.
