My rhinoplasty has been an enomous success I would not have imagined that a change could be achieved that is so subtle and so dramatic at the same time. Dr.Aslani is the only expatriate surgeon in Spain who heads a formal Plastic surgery department and leads a team of specialists in the field of Plastic and cosmetic surgery.
The department of Plastic surgery in Hospital Quiron is a national reference centre for Plastic surgery in Spain, and in fact the only centre offering reconstructive microsurgery north of Madrid in the Iberian peninsula.
Dr.Aslani looks back at a very succesful academic career in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery.
He has held various academic consultant positions in university hospitals in South Africa, Germany and Austria, including a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Wentworth Hospital, Durban, South Africa.
Dr.Aslani has been attending professor in the Austrian academy for microsurgery and lecturing professor at PMU Medical school,Salzburg Austria.
Apart from cosmetic surgery ,in his position as head of the department of Plastic surgery of Hospital Quiron Malaga,Dr.Aslani has special interest in Reconstructive surgery, especially microsurgery of the breast and head and neck, as well combined body contouring surgery.
As chairman of the Plastic Surgery department , Dr.Aslani trains surgeons in the higher qualification as Plastic and cosmetic surgeons.
Apart from his academic appointments, Dr. Aslani has been in private practice since 2003.
Before being appointed as chairman of the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Hospital Quiron Malaga, Dr.Aslani has worked as consultant in a large cosmetic surgery practice in London for many years, performing around 500 cosmetic surgery procedures every year.
He is a registered expert witness of the Colegio de medicos Malaga.
Dr. Alexander Aslani works in the field of Plastic Surgery since 1995.
He is a delegate of EBOPRAS, the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons since 2003.
Dr. Aslani is a full member if the national associations of Plastic surgeons in Germany and Austria. He also a member of INTERPLAST and leads a surgical team operating mainly cleft-lip-palate surgery on kids in regular yearly camps in Mysore, South India.
