Sydney cosmetic surgeon Dr Eddy Dona is a member of The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and was awarded “The Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship” by The Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr Eddy Dona is a fully trained and experienced Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He graduated in medicine from from the University of Sydney then completed 11 years of rigorous training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. After the successful completion of his training he was awarded specialist surgical qualifications in plastic surgery – FRACS.

Ensuring he stays abreast of the most advanced techniques, Sydney plastic surgeon Dr Dona regularly attends national and international conferences in Cosmetic Surgery. He is an active researcher in various fields of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, presenting his work at numerous conferences.

As a consultant plastic surgeon in one of Sydney’s largest trauma hospitals, Dr Dona is often required to reconstruct the bodies of those affected by trauma and cancer. He firmly believes that only through the experience and skills of “restoring” a person’s normal form is a surgeon able to comprehend what it is to be a true cosmetic surgeon. “Enhancing someone’s natural beauty is easy for the surgeon who is also capable of recreating beauty that has been stolen” Dr Dona says.
