He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Palacký University, Olomouc and the University of New South Wales, Australia.

He holds a certificate in surgery. After completing his post-graduate study at the University Clinic in Ulm, Germany, he obtained a certificate in vein surgery.

He has studied with: Czech Republic - Doc. Měšťák, Austria - prof. J. Bohler, France - Dr. P.Fournier, USA - Dr. Heofflin, Dr. Gregory, Dr. H. Masiha, Sweden - Dr. Per Heden, Spain - Dr. M. Yerro, etc.

Publications

He is the author of many publications in professional medical journals, and he lectures in the USA, Germany, France, Austria, and the Czech Republic. He has already completed more than 3500 liposuctions with tumescent anesthesia.

He is a member of the Regional Medical Chamber for North Wurttemberg, German academy of cosmetic surgery, German society of aesthetic surgery, American lipoplastic society, American society of laser medicine and surgery, etc.

Professional experience

Since 1988 he has been leading his own private Institute of Esthetic Surgery in Sindelfingen, Germany.

Since 1994 he has been working in Germany on the application of tumescent liposuction. He has been developing suction tubes for liposuction in cooperation with the Medicon eG company. He is participating in developing the system of sucking out fat with the help of a high-pressure water stream - put into clinical tests at the end of 2004. He has been developing the vibration system for liposuction.
