My Philosophy
I don't see plastic surgery as a profession, but as my purpose in life. In no other branch of medicine is success so clearly visible than in aesthetic plastic surgery. Sharing the happiness of the patients in their new attitude towards life is the most positive aspect of this profession, but I also see it as being a constant challenge to actually achieve this objective.

• 1983 - 1986 Residency Training to become a General Practitioner
• 1986 Beginning of Training to become a Plastic Surgery Specialist at the University Clinic, Graz, Plastic Surgery Department
•1990 Temporary Employment Abroad at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA
• 1991 Plastic Surgery Specialist
• Since 1991 Private Surgery for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
• 1992 – 1998 Senior Physician at the Plastic Surgery Department, University Clinic, Graz
• 1994 Authorisation to Lecture on Plastic Surgery (Post Doctoral University Degree with Lecture Qualification)
• 1994 Head of the "Micro Surgery” Work Group at the Plastic Surgery Department
• Since 1994 Austrian Delegate of European Committee on Quality Assurance and Medical Devices in Plastic Surgery (EQUAM)
• Since 1998 Deputy Medical Director of the Schwarzl Klinik
• Since 1999 Member of the Board of the Austrian Society for Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery
