Dr. Rainer Jokisch
Dr. Rainer Jokisch is one of the best known German-speaking phlebologists. Since 2001, he has been a valuable addition to the medical team of the Rosenpark Clinic. After studying pharmacy and human medicine, he received his licence to practise pharmacy in 1987 and to practise medicine in 1993.
After a 2 year vessel surgery training with the key area of vein surgery, he became particularly interested in phlebology. During his specialist training to be a dermatologist and phlebologist, he acquired special operative aesthetic knowledge (e.g. liposuction) and was in charge of the development of minimally invasive procedures in vein surgery (tumescent local anaesthetic, radio wave treatment, sclerosing foam, etc. Scientific paper: Resection of the vena saphena parva under tumescent local anaesthetic). Furthermore, he received an additional qualification in the field of duplex sonography of the peripheral veins.
His specialist fields today are: liposuction, vein treatment, wrinkle treatment, aesthetic laser treatment, eyelid lifting and botulinum toxin treatment.
