I am a consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon based in Birmingham. In addition to my NHS consultant posts in Sandwell and City Hospitals and Manor Hospital, Walsall, I offer cosmetic surgery in BMI The Priory and BMI The Edgbaston Hospitals; Spire Little Aston Hospital, Sutton Coldfield and West Midlands Hospital, Halesowen.
After training in a number of leading Plastic Surgery units including Manchester and Sheffield, I completed my specialist Plastic Surgery training in the West Midlands. I have also completed senior fellowships in breast surgery, hand surgery and microsurgery in St. Andrew’s Centre, Chelmsford, Essex. To complete my training in cosmetic surgery I completed Nagor aesthetic fellowship and was awarded the prestigious Pulvertaft travelling fellowship for higher surgical training in 2008.
I am on the GMC specialist register for Plastic Surgery (no. 4620594). I am a member of British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
I have published over twenty articles in Plastic Surgery journals and am a regular reviewer for a number of international Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery journals. I am actively involved in teaching medical students and trainee surgeons.
My clinical interests include cosmetic surgery including facial plastic surgery (facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery), breast surgery (augmentation, reduction, mastopexy), correction of gynaecomastia, body contouring surgery (abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm and thigh reduction), correction of prominent ears, general plastic and reconstructive surgery including microsurgery and all aspects of hand surgery.
