Extensive experience – the Lexum Eye Clinic’s medical team is made up of internationally recognised professionals in the field of ophthalmology. Since the clinic’s founding in 1993, Lexum doctors have conducted more than 20,000 laser treatments and 50,000 operations on cataracts, glaucoma, corneal transplants, eye reconstruction, and detached retinas, along with vitreous humour operations and detached retinas.

Modern equipment – the Lexum Eye Clinic’s examination and operation rooms are equipped with the most modern technology available. For the laser treatment of dioptric deficiencies, Lexum doctors use the excimer laser LADARVision®4000. This system is equipped with the best technologies that have so far been developed for refractive surgery – LADARTracker, flying spot and LADARWave. For a precise determination of the refractive deficiencies and the suitability of a refractive operation, modern diagnostic apparatuses are used: a topograph that displays a precise map of the cornea, a pachymeter for determining the cornea’s thickness, and a refractometer for measuring the cornea’s objective refraction and curvature. Part of the treatment involves pupillometry for determining the pupil’s width.
