We are the oldest private polyclinic in Prague.

The Polyclinic was founded by Martin Jan Stranský, MD, the only physician in the Czech Republic whose full education and Board certifications (in two specialties) are from the United States. Dr. Stranský is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, where he teaches as well.

The Polyclinic currently serves as the private practice base for 20 physicians, with coverage in all basic and subspecialty areas of medicine (see list). All our physicians are fluent in English and all hold academic and clinical positions in leading area teaching hospitals, which guarantees continuity of care in the event of patient hospitalization.

The Polyclinic also provides full dental services and physiotherapy, as well as 24-hour coverage for all emergencies. Our physicians also specialize in all areas of preventative medicine, including routine and special vaccinations. Home visits can also be arranged. Any necessary care that is needed outside our premises is scheduled and controlled by our personnel.

What do we offer

We offers  state-of-the-art medical care with an individual approach to each client. Our staff consists of highly trained and personable professionals, all of whom are leaders in their fields and who simultaneously practice in leading teaching hospitals in Prague. Because all of us speak English as well as several other languages, there are no language barriers. We also provide employers with workplace assessment as well as preventative employee physicals.
