After graduating with honours at the J.A.Comenius University, Dr Skulavik completed her general surgery training in Prague. She completed her plastic surgery training and a rigorous residency at the department of Plastic Surgery at the Private Hospital Budweiss, the Czech Republic.
During and after her training she consistently worked on enhancing her skills in microsurgery. She has received national fame as the first female doctor to successfully undertake a free flap operation (free tissue transfer) in the Czech Republic. Part of her training as Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery was spent abroad, where she was exposed to cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery at some of the most prestigious medical centres in the world (Canada, Holland).
Since 2006, Dr Skulavik has been self-employed with her private cosmetic surgery practice in Vienna, Austria and in Bratislava and Nitra, both in the Slovak Republic. She holds operating privileges with some of the leading private hospitals in Vienna, such as the Rudolfinerhaus, the Wiener Privatklinik and the Evangelisches Krankenhaus.
For the majority of patients who want to save money on their operations, Dr Skulavik undertakes surgery in Bratislava and Nitra in the Slovak Republic. In these cases patients can be also consulted before their operation and treated after their operation (aftercare) in her private office in Vienna.
Patients can also combine their cosmetic treatment abroad (in Slovakia) with a stay in Vienna, which is one of the most beautiful and safe cities in the world. The journey between Vienna and Trnava is only 1.5 hours by train. The distance between Bratislava and Trnava is only 30 minutes by train.

Before and after the hospital stay, accommodation can be arranged in a variety of hotels and pensions. Airport shuttle transfers can also be provided, from Vienna or Bratislava airports.
Dr Skulavik and her staff will be pleased to assist you in any way possible and all efforts will be made to assure that you feel safe and comfortable before, during and after your surgical procedure.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Skulavik’s main interest is in art. She paints, draws and sculpts. She also enjoys all sorts of sports, Tai chi, literature, languages and travelling.
She speaks Slovak, Czech, Russian, English and German.
