I can no longer furrow my brows 4 days after a botox smoothing
Hello - I had my first application of botox 4.5 days ago. The day before yesterday I noticed I can no longer furrow my brows (the elevens between my brows). It's smooth. I had botox to lift my brows a little but. That is not evident yet. Is it normal for that to follow a few days after the middle of the brows smooth out?

A big Hello to Arizona!
Yes, that's completely normal! From now on you will realize a slight daily increase of relaxation in the treated area. After two +/- weeks you will reach the final result of smoothing out.
Have a relaxed summer and all the best from Munich/Germany!

Dear "no longer NEW BotoxLady",
sounds like a successful treatment! Your brows will move up a little bit now, because the muscles that "pull your brows down" are relaxed. This is a decent and nice sideeffect and you do no want it to be overemphasized.
Enjoy the result!

I understand you are concerned that you noticed fading of frown lines (elevens) but no elevation of eyebrows 5 days after botox injection.
Brow elevation injection results from relaxation of the depressor portion of the brow muscles while the inability to frown results from relaxation of the corrugatar portion of the brow muscles.
Since not all portions of facial muscles reach the maximum relaxation at the same time, its quite normal that one effect of botox precedes the other. Full effect is noted within 2 to 3 weeks and lasts 3 to 6 months.

Yes it is. It sounds as if you have found your ideal practitioner!
I have been having botox for 4 years and I usually have to wait between 10 and 14 days to see results.

After Botox, you can no longer furrow your brows, since the muscles are paralyzed. We use Khawajas permanent filler for wrinkles on forehead and in the glabellar areas. With these, you get rid of your wrinkles permanently while you can still furrow your brows and use your other forehead muscles as well. The procedure takes only 10-20 minutes under local anesthesia, the results are excellent and permanent with no complications.

Good day, this is normal. You may start noticing results any day now. Your final results will be apparent after 14 days. If after 2 weeks you aren't satisfied with your upper forehead, you may require more units. Please follow up with your plastic surgeon.
