Problems after a brow lift

Problems after a brow lift

I had a brow lift done with threading 4 months ago. It seems as though the one thread is irratated and seems to somewhat spasm. there is a small nodule around my hairline will this ever go away? Sometimes it hurts my head. It has gotton better but still bulges down my forehead to the brow. People always ask me if i have been scratched on my forehead. Have you ever heard of this? The other threads are fine. I dont even know they are there. Thank you

Thread lift is based upon barbed suture which entangle with the tissue over the barbs to lift it up. That is why the line of such a suture-tissue reaction will be visible for a while. That will go away as will the nodule on the hairline.

Lisa, as with almost all plastic suture procedures. You must wait 6 months at least to see the final result. Keep in touch with your plastic surgeron as he should be giving you answers if this situation does not improve after that. Thank you.

Dear Lisa,

We pioneered the "Percutaneous Eyebrow Lift" technique, which was published in Dermatologic Surgery Journal and Cosmetic Dermatology Journal ( Percutaneous Eyebrow Lift- Simplifying the Technique ). You should consult your surgeon immediately, regarding any problems that you are having.

I had an endoscopic brow lift a year ago. Initially the left brow was much lower. It has risen slightly, and is still lower than the right. I can see this more when I wear my glasses and the rim makes it more evident. Also, there is a raised ridge or bump that extends over the top of my left brow. It has become more noticeable, and when I raise my eyebrow, it is more evident as there is a line or crease above the "ridge." I was expecting a flat brow after this lift, and am not happy with the results. My PS tells me that it may take years (?) for the brow to settle. He's put Botox in my forehead a couple of times but I see no difference. I'm assuming this is a muscle that is causing the raised lump? When I press on it it's still slightly tender, a year later. How can this be corrected? It is really bothering me.
Thanks for your help. Theresa
