We are not saying you go for it right now. If you are suffering from chronic
swelling around the eyes, you should have a medical check up especially for kidneys. Moreover,
swelling around the eyelids is not only due to renal problem but there are a number of other issues as well. So, if everything else is OK, and still there is
swelling around the eyes, there is no contraindication in having eyelid surgery, and several patients who go for eyelid surgery, suffer from eyelid
swelling, in addition to eye-bags ( fatty bags ), drooping of upper lids with
swelling in both lids. The stitches do hold and we do a No-
Swelling Eyelid Surgery, though several colleagues think, it is not possible. Hope it helps !
