Have you anyone traveled for blepharoplasty from Uk somewhere abroad. I want to have it done next year, both upper and lower and wondering if it is not cheaper there, how is it with hospitalization. I was thinking of Prague however i already been there and i like it and it is easy to get there for me. Anyone any experience with some of the clinics? I will be happy for any advise and experiences.

I flew from Newcastle to Prague with Jet2 to have lower facelift and neck lift as well as upper and lower eyelid lifts. The flights are every Monday and Friday. This was in late September. I flew there on a Monday. Had my operation, by Dr Vasek,on Tuesday, stayed in Forme Clinic for 2 days then had my eye stitches removed the following Monday before flying home that same day. I'm very pleased with the result. The clinic arranged a taxi from and to Prague airport. I was on my own and was nervous but the whole experience went smoothly and I am so glad I did it. Ann

I had mine couple of years ago by dr.Vasek and my eyes look good. I was not even hospitalized I remember I went home after the surgery. My eyes were swollen so I had to wear sunglasses because of it and the eyes were little sensitive for daylight. But it was just for few days and I felt good.

Two weeks ago I came back from Forme clinic. Had just upper blepharoplasty because I had very dropped eyelids. It looks very good and also healing is fast. It is already looking good.

So you were not hospitalized? I thought you stay at least one night. And what about the scars, are they visible?

No I was not. I stayed at the clinic few hours and then was free to go. Just make sure you keep sunglasses on you. It really helps. The scars are not visible at all. They are so tiny so no one can see them.  Believe me you do not have to be scared all.

Hi. How long did it last until you could be back to normal life? I mean to go back to work or so. I am booked with Forme clinic next month and wondering how many days I am supposed to be off the work. So I am very excited and happy I will have my eyes open and eyelids finally visible:-)

Hi, sorry I am replying just now. Probably you already had your surgery. I was off for two weeks, but felt good and looked fine after one week. So how was your surgery, did you have it last month?

I had it and love it. Was little frightened by my swollen eyes after the surgery, but I expected that. And healed very good and no scars are visible

We specialize and pioneered the Non-Swelling Blepharoplasty. There is no swelling immediately after your operation, like in a conventional blepharoplasty. You can stay few hours at the clinic and then you can go back to your home or hotel. Stitches are extremely fine and are out on 4-5 day of surgery. Scars are imperceptible and extremely fine and not visible even watching very closely after a few weeks. Results are highly desirable with a very high patient satisfaction rate. there are no complications.
