Vampire facelift - what is your experience ?

AnneF  |  visitor  |  Ontario
I am planing on having a vampire facelift surgery soon in Montreal. It was my doctor, Dr. Omar Fouda neel who suggested me to get the vampire facelift ait provides a much better result than any other facelift process or fillers. But the images of the surgery are a little scary, with our own blood being injected on our face. I hope the process is not as scary as the images. I am feeling nervous and please help me ease the stress by sharing your positive experience.

If there are no other options, then you must have it. However you can have a second opinion. Send us your pictures and we will assess your condition.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Well, speaking about "lifting" and "facelift surgery" the patients (and doctors) usually mean a surgical operation with exzision of excessive tissue and a real "mechanical" lifting the sagging facial anatomical structures. But the name "vampire facelift" is nothing more like a marketing slogan for an injection procedure of some parts of blood (platelets). It can help you in come cases, but nothing will be really "lifted" there. Be aware of it, please.

The newly-popular vampire facelift has some definite advantages associated with it. It uses facial fillers, just like Juvederm and Radiesse. However, it does take your skin about 8 weeks to show the results you are looking for. If you have a weak stomach, I would suggest looking to other anti-aging methods that aren't as intrusive as the vampire facelift.

Talk to your doctor about Botox and other facial fillers that will improve your skin's condition. Your doctor may say that this is the only option, but in reality, this procedure is uncommon in comparison to the many other anti-aging methods on the market, such as Botox, dermal fillers, and Retinoids, that won't be as intrusive or frightening.
