Hi,

I am 5 weeks post op trimming method and I have minimal swelling and no pain during every day movements. However I am still soar when touching my labia, for example when drying after a wee. I am worried as it says everywhere that intercourse is fine after 6w but I don’t think I can have sex next week. Does this mean that I’m not healing as expected?

Hi Nikki! Each patient heals individually and while symptoms you describe may be normal, it's best to consult the dr who performed the procedure to check if the healing process is going ok. We hope your healing process will go smoothly :)

Hi Nikki, if you are still soar after 5 weeks of labiaplasty, it is better to wait more. You can use anti-inflammatory enzyme preparations to get rid of it quickly. It would be a good idea to arrange a consultation with your surgeon, so that he / she can assess the healing process and guide you accordingly. All the best !

that’s very normal, like the other comments say everyone heals differently! i’ve talked to a few people who had labiaplasty and they had to wait till closer around 8 weeks. How are you feeling now? I seen it’s been awhile since you posted.
