Hi everyone,

So I had a labiaplasty two weeks ago after years of mental anguish and hating my body. I was so excited to get this done.

Now that the swelling has gone down, I’ve noticed that I can’t see or feel my Clitoris. My clitoris was a small bulb right at the bottom of the clitoril hood. I don’t understand why I no longer feel it or see it when it was so explicitly present before.

Can someone give me a rational answer as to why that may be other than the surgeon accidentally removing it? I am waiting to hear back from him regarding a follow up, but anything you can share in the meantime would help my anxiety.

Hi, there is swelling of labia with one lip more swollen than the other. There is swelling in the region of clitoral hood and clitoral hood has been removed. After removal of the clitoral hood, you should be able to feel the clitoris, even with this much swelling, if you were able to feel it before in the form of a small bulb at the base of the clitoral hood. However, to be on the safe side, you can wait more, till the swelling has gone down completely and then try to feel your clitoris again. Your surgeon must have prescribed you some medicines for swelling. If not, you can ask him. If after complete swelling has gone down, and you still are unable to feel the clitoris, then, it is a matter of concern, and you need to raise this question with your surgeon. All the Best !

Hello do you have an update? I am 1.5 weeks post op and feel worried that I have a bulge around that area rather than swelling? All the other areas are looking well and not very swollen
