Nose looks like a potato 2.5 months post-op + photos

Hi Catalin, Rhinoplasty is quite an extensive procedure and swelling may take up to a year to go away. So now it's quite early days- the swelling distorts the view, hence the nose looking bigger. We hope you healing will go smoothly and have a nice day :)

Hi Catalin, you had a conventional rhinoplasty, and if bones have been fractured and re-arranged, it is going to take a long time for swelling to subside - year/s. so, you need to be patient. You can meanwhile use anti-inflammatory enzyme preparations to reduce the swelling. However, soft tissue swelling can take months and bony swelling can take year/s to go away completely.
We do a NO-SWELLING RHINOPLASTY in large number of our cases. It is done in local anesthesia, and swelling is either very minor or non-existent. Final results are permanent and are seen in 2-3 weeks. There is no bleeding, no swelling and no bandages. It is walk in walk out surgery.
