Rhinoplasty result - wonky nose

I just did my rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago and I'm so scared about this assymetry. Is it normal and just swelling? Or will it stay like this? One of my nostrils is much higher than the other. There's also a dent in my nostril and one side is bigger than the other. Will this get better?

I suppose the nostril asymmetry was before surgery also. If it was, it will be permanent.

Hi, Vicky. I didn’t see before pictures and don’t know what your surgeon has done therefore it is really hard do judge. I think 3 weeks is not enough time for swelling to go down. For my patiets I wait 10 to 12 months to see final result and only then we discuss if correction is needed.

Hello Vicky98, can you post before / after pictures so the doctors have a clear picture about your problem?
How long ago you had a rhinoplasty?

Hello Vicky, yes your nose will change a lot after months. We recommend our patients to wait for 6 months to see the exact result.

Hello Vicky98,
The complains you are having is very normal for someone that just underwent surgery a few weeks ago. Try to stay positive and be patient because your mood plays a big role in your recovery period. If you think you are having swellingness in an extreme way then I would suggest you to get in contact with your surgeon.

Best of luck!
