Will my tip drop down after my rhinoplasty?

I had my rhynoplasty surgery about a month ago. The tip of my nose is too upwards( almost piggy like ) as well as it being very swollen . I also try to tape my nose as much as possible (not the tip though) However I am very concerned with the tip. Does it drop down a little bit after a while ? If yes how much ? I want it to look more normal not piggy . And will my nose shrink a little as the swelling goes down ?

Your nose will be smaller and tip will drop down a little as the swelling subsides and the cartilage and bones heal. It's too early for a result. The preliminary look will be at about 3 months while the final appearance of a nose after rhinoplasty consolidates in 6 to 12 months. Be patient. You will definitely get the result, but not in one day, not even one month. Nose heals slowly over a more prolonged time period.
According to the posted pictures you look good for a month postop. You don't need to tape it any more. Just don't use sunglasses for another 2 months.

At least after 6 months after operation the effect of the rhinoplasty
(initially)can be assessed. Drooping down of the tip of the nose and going
down of the swelling are natural, usual postoperative phenomena. Therefore,
I keep my fingers crossed. Happy New Year.

You have to be patient because nose swallowing takes several months to see your nose job result.

Since 1985 I do perform functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty.

Your nose looks good so far. Due to swelling you can not talk about a result yet.
The final result of rhinoplasty you can expect approx. 10-12 months post operative.
There after corrective surgery can be performed - if needed.

After Conventional rhinoplasty like in your case, your swelling might take several months to subside. If bony intervention was also undertaken ( correction of nasal bones ), it might take even longer ( 1-2 years ). You should assess final results accordingly. With our state of the art Simplified Rhinoplasty Techniques, swelling is either minimal or non-existent and you see final results as soon as after a few weeks as compared to conventional rhinoplasty, where you need to wait months for that.
