Hi Lydia

Normally the effects after the first 15 days are observed, also depends on the severity of the acne, maybe note the results in a longer period.

It is a therapy with good results.

Dear Lydia!
Sometimes you have to wait for result 4 weeks and repeat treatment few times, it depends on your skin. If PRP is not enough for your acne scars, very good treatment is combination of PRP and fractional laser therapy. I would like to see your skin photos, than I can write what is best for you.

Generally the therapy pf acne scars is very complex and difficult problem. PRP is just one of the methods used. Could be, that your scars are too deep or the skin more "tough" and so the progress after PRP is very slow and limited. Can be that fractional radiofrequency or fractional laser would help more, but any therapy of scars needs always repetitive sessions and sometimes switch in the techniques depending on the reaction of the skin. On darker skin we must be also very careful with certain treatments because of the possibility of depigmentation.
It is good to discuss the approach again with your doctor or with also some other surgeons or dermatologists in your area.

Dear Lydia!
As I can see on your photo, combination of fractional laser and PRP is good combination for you. If we do more agressive laser treatmant than treatment should be repeat fewer times (1-2), and if laser treatmen is less agressive, we have to repeat it more times (3-6). The agressiveness of treatments depends on recovery time you have, After light treatment recovery time is 2-3 days and you are pinky with light exfoliation of skin, and after agressive treatment recovery time is 7 days, during 7 days you are more pinky and exfoliation of skin is more intense.
Also good option for you is deep chemicall peel. Recovery time is 8 days.

The result of PRP generally appears after the second session, four sessions are needed, with a one-month period.
The relative duration of the result, varies according to the degree of interest in the skin and the use of creams and protection from the sun. The result can be obtained by using excellent and excellent plasma injection technology, as long as you care for the skin and maintain it as much as possible through a healthy lifestyle and the use of creams. In general, the result may last about a year with skin care.
