To whom do we recommend Exoderm?
To women and men whose facial skin is sagging, starting to wrinkle or has pigmentation changes or acne scars.
Preparation before applying Exoderm
Before the procedure, the doctor must examine and evaluate the patient’s general condition, perform all the necessary laboratory tests, blood and urine analysis, as well as an ECG and, if necessary, have the patient examined by the internist. One day before the procedure the patient should begin with the anti-herpes treatment, and before the intervention itself, the patient should abstain from eating.
The procedure is performed under local or potentiated anesthesia and is completely painless. The first step is to clean the face well, then the Exoderm liquid is applied to the skin and finally the face is covered with a special mask that will stay on for the next 20-24 hours. The face is then cleaned again and powdered – the powder solidifies into a firm mask and stays on the face for the next seven days.
Recommendations for the first eight days
After the removal of the mask, the patient must apply special creams and light make-up is allowable to cover the redness; in some places the face may show redness, which can last from the several weeks up to several months - depending on the skin type of the patient. In addition, we point out that creams with protection factor 50 + should be used at least six months after the procedure.
The Exoderm peeling removes a certain layer of the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin fibers to regroup - the skin will be safely tightened and the results are long-lasting. The first result is visible after only eight days, once the second face mask is removed; the skin continues to improve during the next year and the rejuvenation process goes on - the skin keeps on getting tighter, fresher and velvety smooth.
The advantage of Exoderm chemical peeling
The great advantage of this peeling is that, unlike other deep chemical peelings, Exoderm can be applied to both lighter and darker skin - the results are excellent!
