Toe narrowing

If the toes look too wide, they can be operatively tapered.

During the surgery, the skin and lower tissue on both sides of the toe is removed and the toe gets a new shape. Adjustment of bone is needed only very rarely.

Nails on the toes can also be operatively tapered.

In order to achieve a lasting effect, the nail, as well as the nail bed and the nail root are narrowed during this procedure.

In some cases, it may be necessary to narrow the nail with the nail bed in order to achieve the desired aesthetic effect.

The procedure can be performed under local anaesthesia of the toe, and in most cases, any additional treatment is not necessary.
